Welcome to the Wine In The Woods Festival

Four local wineries and more than a dozen craft vendors highlighted the 2011 lineup. An even bigger offering with more vendors helped to make the 2012 festival a huge success. Be sure to save the date on your calendar for the next year's festival to be held on September 21, 2013.
On September 17, 2011, the Sacred Heart School Development Fund Committee hosted the inaugural Wine in the Woods Festival. Originally scheduled to be held at the storied Conewago Picnic Woods belonging to the Parish of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, record rainfall forced the festival to find a new home in its first year. After the normally tranquil waters of the adjacent Conewago Creek inundated the picnic grounds, the Development Committee was literally "bailed out" by a good friend and long time supporter of Sacred Heart School. The Brushtown Athletic Association donated the use of its athletic fields allowing the event to be held as scheduled despite the last minute change in venue.
